Currently a Program Consultant with the Department of Industrial Relations, Division of Apprenticeship, Alma works with employers, employee representatives, and employer groups to encourage and assist in the development of apprenticeship standards. She attends job fairs and connects with community based organizations to share information on the benefits of apprenticeship. Prior to working with the Department of Industrial Relations, Alma spent 25 years with the Employment Development Department where her last assignment was working as Manager at the Marina Del Rey WorkSource Center. Alma has had a long and successful career providing services to the people of California.
