The University of Tampas Office of Career Services and event partner, University of South Florida Career Services, will be hosting the Eleventh Annual Recruiting Trends Program. Back by popular demand, Dr. Phil Gardner, director of the Collegiate Employment Research Institute (CERI) at Michigan State University, will share the latest data from the recently released recruiting trends survey. Participants will get a firsthand look at the most recent recruiting trends (nationally and locally) influencing the college labor market, as reported by data collected from many local and national employers. Gardner and CERI are nationally recognized for their research on the transition from college to work, employment readiness of college graduates and assessment of learning in the workplace.
Closing keynote speaker Dan Black, Global Recruiting Leader for EY will discussDisruption. Transformation. Displacement. The speed of change and proliferation of digital solutions in the workplace have caused a fair amount of angst and pessimism in the workforce. Its time we change the narrative: there is significant upside for talent in the Transformative Age, and the future of work can have a huge positive impact on both careers and business outcomes. Dan Black will talk about the journey at EY, where the future of work is viewed as a goal worth pursuing and a critical component of the success of its people, clients and the working world.
