The iSchool Career Fair is an opportunity for organizations to discuss job and internship opportunities with outstanding students from a variety of information-related disciplines. The fair is open to iSchool students and others across the University of Washington's three campuses. Last year, more than 800 students attended the fair.
This is an ideal venue for employers looking to hire for information technology and information science roles. Past participants have used the fair to fill positions including application developer, cybersecurity analyst, data analyst, information architect, IT consultant, project manager, research associate, software developer, taxonomist, and UX designer.
*Special note for libraries: While library employers are welcome to attend the iSchool Career Fair, we will be hosting a separate event, specifically for library & information science organizations, on January 27, 2019 (2-4PM), to coincide with the ALA mid-winter conference. The purpose of this event is to engage MLIS students, alumni, and LIS-related organizations. The event will be held on the UW Seattle campus and more details will be available on a forthcoming registration page. If you have questions, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
