Our team consists of over 20 professional coaches and facilitators who hold or used to hold various leadership and management positions as well as do their own business.We provide a set of seminars that will help you discover your skills, help with your resume and Linked In account and prepare for your job interview. We run special workshops for those who are looking for a State Job as well as for those who want to start or market there own small business. There is a one time fee of $30 for the job seekers. State Job Specialist volunteer. Job One offers a class on how to find a state job, the processes, job title exam searches and interview preparation. This is not a state sponsored session, but is taught by our volunteer coach who has helped 129 people get state jobs and worked with hundreds of job seekers in the state process of hiring. Recently state had 3554 state job openings statewide and 1106 of those were in Sacramento County. Our one hour class at 11:30 am is at 8303 Sierra College Blvd, suite 140, Roseville, and offers our extensive experience from 8 years of coaching seekers on how to get state jobs. There is no charge for this session as it is part of becoming a member of the Career Coaching program. This class covers how to set up your job search account with the state, how to identify job titles you may qualify for, and how to locate the required job title state exams. Interview tips and leads on job titles and Departments to pursue are also offered. The state website is www.jobs.ca.gov.
