A pioneer in fashion retail, Jennifer Hyman, is one of the world's leading businesswomen and has been honored in Fortune's "Most Powerful Women Entrepreneurs" and "40 under 40."
The company Hyman cofounded, Rent the Runway, has disrupted the $1.7 trillion fashion industry by introducing clothing rental as a utility in women's everyday lives. In her role, Hyman sets the strategic priorities and leads the company in growing all areas of the business, including marketing, technology, product, logistics, and analytics.
Since co-founding Rent the Runway in 2009, Hyman has raised more than $190 million in venture capital, growing the business to more than six million members, 1,100 employees (which is more than 60 percent women and 70 percent minority), and hundreds of designer brands. As CEO, Hyman has built Rent the Runway from an idea into a profitable, high-growth company valued at nearly $1 billion and one of the most beloved brands in the United States.
Hyman has been honored with recognitions such as Forbes "12 Most Disruptive Names in Business" and Fast Company's "Most Creative People in Business." She is also a frequent guest on television serving as Rent the Runway's spokesperson on The Today Show, Good Morning America, CBS This Morning, Fox Business,Bloomberg, and at major industry events.
Rent the Runway was named on of the "25 Most Disruptive Brands" by Forbes, one of the "50 companies disrupting the status-quo" by CNBC, one of the "10 Most Innovative Fashion Companies" by Fast Company, and one of the "50 Best Websites" by TIME.
Hyman earned her BA from Harvard University cum laude and MBA from Harvard Business School. In 2015, she co-founded the Rent the Runway Foundation to help women entrepreneurs throughout the United States build scalable, high-growth companies. She is an investor in and advisor to a diverse group of start-ups throughout the nation and is passionate about diversifying entrepreneurship.
Fashion designer and artist Maria Pintocreates beautiful, modern fashion for women and is the creative voice behind M2057, a ready-to-wear collection inspired by urban architecture and design.
Pinto gives women fashion that is chic and versatile. She has brought her unique design to iconic women such as First Lady Michelle Obama, Oprah Winfrey, and Brooke Shields. Her designs have also been featured on the hit show Empire and in publications such as Vogue, Vanity Fair, The New York Times, and The Wall Street Journal.
M2057 features clothing that is high fashion and high function, yet also low maintenance. Pieces are machine washable, excellent for travel, and can shift from day to night.
Pintocelebrated her 25th anniversary in fashion design in 2016 with a retrospective at Chicagos City Gallery in the Historic Water Tower. In 2012, she co-curated an exhibition for the Field Museum, Fashion and the Field Museum Collection, and her designs are now part of the Field Museum's permanent collection. Pinto is a member of the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA), Chicagos Advisory Council on Cultural Affairs and Special Events, and is on the board of the Art Institute of Chicagos Architecture and Design Society. The School of the Art Institute has awarded Pinto both its Legend of Fashion award in 2009 and an honorary doctorate in 2017.
Tim is the founder and CEO of Double Good, a purveyor of gourmet popcorn and good vibes. An innovative leader in product-based fundraising, the company has pioneered technology thats made it nearly effortless to fundraise online and created a way for participants to keep half of the proceeds.

During her tenure as editor-in-chief and publisher ofChicagomagazine,Susanna Homan has led the publication to become anaward-winning monthly that spurs conversation on important civic topicswhile also helping readers make the most of their lives through authoritativecoverage on politics, arts, and dining.
She is also the editor-in-chief and publisher ofSplash, a monthlySunday-style magazine distributed in theChicago Tribune, which she founded andlaunched in 2012. It is the largest-circulation glossy in the region withup-to-the-minute coverage on the trending people and events that shapecity life.
Homan previously served as the founding editor-in-chief ofMichigan Avenuemagazine, a glossy dedicated to the luxury lifestyle in Chicago. She started her journalism career as a nightlife and shoppingcolumnist for theChicago Sun-Times.
Event Day Chair, Brook Jay, has been an EO Chicago member for 5 years. Brook has been a marketing and advertising industry innovator and disruptor for 20 plus years. As the co-founder of award-winning agency All Terrain, Brook and her team have created internationally recognized campaigns for major brands like General Motors, Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, Maserati and Penfolds Wine.
