The company Hyman cofounded, Rent the Runway, has disrupted the $1.7 trillion fashion industry by introducing clothing rental as a utility in women's everyday lives. Since co-founding Rent the Runway in 2009, Hyman has raised more than $190 million in venture capital, growing the business to more than six million members, 1,100 employees (which is more than 60 percent women and 70 percent minority), and hundreds of designer brands. As CEO, Hyman has built Rent the Runway from an idea into a profitable, high-growth company valued at nearly $1 billion and one of the most beloved brands in the United States. Maria Pinto: Fashion designer and artist Maria Pintocreates beautiful, modern fashion for women and is the creative voice behind M2057, a ready-to-wear collection inspired by urban architecture and design. Pinto gives women fashion that is chic and versatile. She has brought her unique design to iconic women such as First Lady Michelle Obama, Oprah Winfrey, and Brooke Shields. Her designs have also been featured on the hit show Empire and in publications such as Vogue, Vanity Fair, The New York Times, and The Wall Street Journal.
