Hear from great women in tech who will give their insight on how they reached their level of success, advise on navigating the workplace, and how we can help the next generation of women in tech. After the panel we will go into Q&A to take a deeper dive into the issues women face in the tech industry and find solutions to how we can rise above the obstacles and thrive in this growing field. Breakfast 8:15am-8:30am Panel 8:30am-9:30am Q&A 9:30am-10:00am About the Speakers Sapna NagarajDirector, Big Data & Machine Learning,Blackline Sapna Nagaraj currently serves as Director, Big Data and Machine Learning at BlackLine. In this role, Ms.Nagaraj is responsible for BlackLines R&D and implementation of Big Data and Machine Learning initiatives. Ms. Nagaraj brings over 12 years of experience to BlackLine, most recently serving in Senior Data Architect and Engineering at Headspace. Prior to Headspace, Sapna held positions of increasing responsibility at TrueCar, Inc. serving most recently as a Senior Developer Big Data Platform. A seasoned Data Professional with a passion for bridging the gap between Product and Engineering groups, Ms. Nagaraj has extensive experience using Big Data technologies to build and deliver intelligent data products. Sapna finds the prospect of creating new products from raw data particularly exciting and believes data is the future of business. Ms. Nagaraj holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University and a Masters of Computer Science from the University of Southern California. Mary Beth Ferrante is the founder of the organization Live.Work.Lead., a company dedicated to helping organizations retain high potential women by designing programs to support women as they navigate becoming new moms. Live.Work.Lead. also working directly with individuals supports through their Professional Working Moms Groups, connecting and supporting moms virtually. Mary Beth has been featured in Working Mother, Scary Mommy, FairyGodBoss. She regularly hosts workshops in the Los Angeles area topics such as burnout, boundaries and balance, negotiation, and advocating for your own career growth. Prior to founding Live.Work.Lead. Mary Beth was an SVP of Business Strategy for a Fortune 100 company and spent the majority of her corporate career in strategic planning, program and change management. Jazmine GrazaVideo Influencer & Online Business Coach Jazz, better known online as LifeByJazz is a video influencer and online business coach who regularly hosts interactive workshops through Aiirbnb Experiences and has been featured on The Vlogging Success Summit, Unleashed Entrepreneur Podcast and Brand Like a Boss. She helps coaches, healers and spiritual leaders to move past fear and become visible beacons online so that they can been seen as natural influencers, impact even more people and grow their business. Since launching her Youtube channel, she's grow her online community to over 11,000 subscribers and has been invited to speak at summits and festivals sharing her inspirational journey of the power of vlogging & conscious content creation. Prior to founding LifeByJazz, Jazmine was the Social Media Manager for Beachbody and freelanced for brands like Sephora. She has spent the majority of her career in video strategy, branding and content creation. Madison LiStrategic Partnerships,Wonder Women Tech As a Chicago native, Madison grew up with cold noses and warm hearts. A natural born connector, Madison values meaningful relationships and is always asking bold questions to get to the real, raw why. Currently, Madison is driving Strategic Partnerships at Wonder Women Tech (WWT), an organization dedicated to empowering the underserved, underrepresented, women, LGBTQ, veterans and minorities in STEAM. She advocates for education that opens doors for young women, minorities and programs that empower both women in the workplace & entrepreneurs to succeed personally and professionally. Her diverse & global background as an entrepreneur and IT consultant for Fortune 500 clients in industrial automation, manufacturing in China,startups, & software shapes her view/passion for an interconnected world. Shes excited about championing diversity and inclusion efforts and the future of work, a place where people can show up authentically and fully human. A lover of languages and cultures (she dabbles in Italian, Chinese, Spanish & Arabic), Madison also studies Egyptian and Tahitian dances.
