Event Description

Our Goals As global citizenship sets the tone for the 21st century, the field of education has witnessed a proliferation of international collaborations intended to improve student learning outcomes. Tapping into our broad network in both China and the US, we would like to bring school leaders and business partners together to discuss critical issues facing K-12 schools and institutions of higher learning to enhance bilateral exchanges. We hope the colloquium can serve as a platform for US and Chinese educational institutions and companies to share their best practices and to explore partnership opportunities. By the end of the conference, our participants will walk away with effective strategies and connections to reinvigorate global programs at their schools or businesses. Who should attend Invited attendees include K-12 school teachers, principals and superintendents, college students, professors and administrators, as well as company executives from both countries. Any educators, students and administrators who are interested in educational exchange between US and China are welcome. The conference is free but will limit attendance to 50 people. Date and Location The School Leadership Colloquium will be held on April 23, 2018, at Harvard University. The colloquium will include three panel discussions, one roundtable discussion, and a career fair. Conference Partners BostonWise, a local company committed to build two-way bridges across cultures.
